I was a History Tutor at Binghamton University while I was an undergrad. I specialized in US History, European History and World History, but I am enough of a generalist to be able to help you with any time period and region. I'm also prepared to help tutor in my first love, Political Science/Government/Civics! I have plenty of experience with writing and editing and have a significant amount of experience with editing papers, essays and other assignments. I have edited papers professionally and for friends, for high schoolers and for undergraduates. I have published a scholarly article in an undergraduate journal and served as an associate editor and writer for a campus paper. I have won numerous awards for writing, including the prestigious Andrew Bergman Award for Creative Writing from Binghamton University, and the first place award from the National Center for Policy Analysis. Hobbies
It's probably no surprise that I'm an avid reader and writer! My nose is constantly in the latest book, and I'm lucky enough to have a full-time research and writing job where I can employ the skills I honed at school. On a more adrenaline-filled level, I enjoy hiking and camping and try to get out in the woods or the mountains as often as I can. I enjoy working out and I also have a passion for learning languages. I taught myself Polish over the course of several years and I'm currently learning Spanish.
