My teaching and tutoring experience includes two years in South Korea as an English teacher for middle school level and elementary school level students and six months of private tutoring in Australia. I attended Appalachian State University for my bachelor's degree in political science, and I also have a masters degree in law and diplomacy. Because of this academic background, I excel in social sciences including political science and history. I also have plenty of experience in ESL, and I'm certified in TESOL. I've also had my writing published, and I was the senior editor at the Fletcher Security Review, so I can also help students become better writers and editors. In addition, I'm comfortable with standardized tests and performed well on them myself, and can help students prepare for the GRE, SAT, or others. In my free time, I like to travel, try new foods, and listen to music.
