Experiences The possibility of helping you acheive your educational goals is something that I am very interested in. I hope you will agree that my past work experiences are an excellent fit to successfully fulfill the duties of the position. My standardized test scores are outstanding: 1280 on the SAT, and even better at the post-graduate level - 163 on the GRE - which is in the 90th percentile. My experience with working with teenagers and young adults and tutoring them has been a hallmark of my work. As a Program Manager for two different organizations I have become skilled in creating detailed educational plans. I have shown the ability to meet or exceed their educational needs. I have combined over five years experience tutoring youth as well as overseeing programs where staff and volunteers tutored youth. As a Prevention Trainer educating parents and youth, I have presented on such topics as Suicide Prevention, Bullying Prevention, De-escalating Violent Youth, and Engaging Youth Activities to both youth and adults combined well over two hundred times. I am more than capable presenting information in a way that is understandable and applicable to everybody. Being extremely knowledgeable about the issues youth deal with, especially the need for a good education, makes me especially fit for this position. But most importantly it is my ability to connect with youth in an opportunistic, positive, and motivational way that enables me to enact the change necessary for them to reach their goals. Educational achievement is necessary for those youth dealing with the challenges of a competitive world. I am committed to being part of a system that provides for children the educational services they need. And as I previously stated, I have been involved in two such programs that were aimed directly at thus.
