I recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Special Education and a M.E. in Curriculum and Instruction, where I focused on language, society, and culture. I enjoy teaching a range of subjects, but I feel the most passionately about reading and math.As a teacher, I believe learning must be practical and engaging for the student, and the teacher must make a concerted effort to ensure the students enjoy their learning experience. I am able to help students better their skills in a range of subjects, such as elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, English, and reading. In addition, I also help students improve their study habits and organizational skills, as well as work closely with special needs learners.In my free time I love watching hours of my favorite TV series marathons. I live near Washington D.C., and I love to explore the city with my friends. I also play for a local baseball team.
