Experience
I am very comfortable working with and tutoring people of all ages in a variety of subjects. I have taught at a university in Panama on a Fulbright Scholarship and have also previously worked as a lead tutor for students in grades K-6 for the One on One Learning Tutor Company. Additionally, I taught 4th and 5th grade in Washington, D.C. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have also recently gone back to school to earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in the Sciences. In the past year, I have taken nearly all of the college Science courses and have attained a GPA of 4.0. Some of the courses I have taken include Biology 151/152, Chemistry 101/102, Physics 201/202, Cell Biology, Anatomy, Physiology. WIth a background in Elementary Education, I am very good at relaying complex ideas into simple terms that are easier to grasp. I have a passion for teaching others and seeing the light bulbs go on.
