After graduating from the University of Virginia and completing my coursework in only 3 years, I hold a degree in Computer Science and Foreign Affairs. I now work for a Financial Services company. I have a wide range of experience as a tutor. This includes working privately and for companies. I've worked as a tutor privately with friends, as an SAT prep teacher, helped edit papers for friends while in college, and volunteered for the organization Big Brothers Big Sisters.As a tutor, I believe in each student's ability to succeed. No matter what they need help with, I'm there to offer my knowledge and help them better understand the subject matter at hand. I often assist with SAT prep, college letters and applications, mathematical coursework, and writing. I love helping each student improve upon his or her skills, and I love seeing when a student feels proud about his or her accomplishments after working with me.When I'm not working or tutoring, I enjoy watching TV, spending time at the local pool, and attending various sporting events. I write about the different sporting events that I go to. I also love to take classes when I get the chance, because I believe it's always possible to learn and grow as a person.
