Experience
I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Engineering and I am now working in the defense contracting field. I share a strong passion for both science and tutoring and have honed my skill-set from years of tutoring on the collegiate levels in math, econ, and physics. I enjoy tutoring in all level of math ranging from pre-algebra to pre-calc to calculus I and II along with economics (micro and macro) and physics. My teaching style focuses on the understanding concepts, problem solving and developing an overall understanding of the material. I can alter lessons to reinforce concept or teach new material depending on the need of the student. I also develop my own study sheets for students so learning doesn't stop after our session. Your child will have the resources to build upon our lesson and strengthen his or her understanding. I offer a systematic approach rather than just an hour of my time. My friends describe me as upbeat, fun, and organized. I look forward to giving the one-on-one attention your child deserves. I can provide multiple outstanding references from students of whom I have tutored for almost a year.
