Experience
I have been playing basketball for the better part of his life. I played high school basketball in Houston, Texas at Kingwood High School, one of the premier 5-A high schools in the Houston area. While in high school I was the only player to make the varsity team as a sophomore. My contributions and team-oriented nature helped our team achieve both local and state ranking in Texas. After high school, I played basketball at a Liberal Arts college in Pennsylvania. A starter since my freshman season, I was named most valuable player three out of the four years I played. I was able to reach the 1,000 career point milestone my senior year and left the school in the top five all-time in career points, field goal percentage, and free-throw percentage. My greatest sense of pride comes from the fact that I helped lead the team to its first playoff berth in 10 years, including the college's first playoff victory in school history during the 2004-2005 season. Other notable achievements I have collected during my college years include: Conference leading scorer in the 2001-2002 season and the 2004-2005 season, Conference Player of the week (3 times), Herb Good Philadelphia-area small school outstanding achievement award, and the Varsity Cup. I have taken personal basketball instruction at various times throughout my basketball career, and I am a firm believer that champions are not born… but made. Through detailed practice and comprehensive instruction I will strive to give the best possible personal lessons.
