Education
Grad Student Political Science major at George Washington University
Experience
I'm a PhD student at George Washington University studying political science with a specialty in American politics. My undergraduate degree is also in political science from the University of Southern California. As an undergraduate I worked as a resident advisor where one of my responsibilities was to help teach a class for prospective resident advisors, which gave me a good chance to see what teaching is all about. I've been helping my friends survive math class since high school. I've always loved math as a subject and got a 4 on the AP calculus exam as a high school junior. I love helping other people to understand those elusive concepts that are just out of reach. It's a great feeling to see someone finally get it. I got a 1500 on the SAT, which helped me to become a National Merit Scholar my senior year in high school. I'm in my first semester as a PhD student so there is no available GPA yet.
