I am a certified teacher in the DC area. I've worked as a teacher since graduating from Georgetown in 2008. In addition to teaching full time, I have worked with several SAT/ACT Test Prep companies in the area, leading classes on how to effectively study for and excel at college admissions tests. My students have raised their scores by as much as 500 points (given at least 25 hours of tutoring sessions prior to the test). I should note that I am dual-certified in math and special education, and I have extensive experience in working with students that require special needs. After completing tutoring sessions with a client, I like to offer my services as a college admissions advisor. While a student at Georgetown, I worked as an administrative assistant in the admissions office, where I gained a great deal of knowledge about the application process.
