I was a Spanish and International Studies Major with a Minor in Psychology. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in May 2012. GPA: 3.91
Experience
SAT Scores: Total 2200/2400; Critical Reading 730; Math 680; Writing 790 5/5 on AP Psychology, Spanish and Biology exams. 4/5 on AP World History Exam. I tutored three students in Spanish in Norfolk - Spanish I and II, but I can do all levels. One student's grade improved from an F to a B by the end of the semester, as we worked together. I have the most experience with Spanish and Psychology , but can also help with many other subjects. Senior year, I taught an "Introduction to Psychology" lab class to a group of undergraduate students, and tutored students in ESL (English as a Second Language). I also have an advanced knowledge of Spanish and have even done some translation services, meaning I can help with all levels of Spanish classes, including AP. I want to be a tutor because I want to help other students succeed in school. I have the experience and know-how necessary to determine where students are struggling and help them excel in areas where they would like to improve.
