In 2013, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Additionally, I spent six years studying Spanish to earn my Spanish proficiency certification. During my time in college, I spent a lot of my time studying journalism, which led to internships at The Philadelphia Inquirer and USA Today. I was also an editor and writer for two college publications.My experience and educational background inspired me to begin tutoring other students in writing. I believe that many people simply lack the confidence needed to excel at writing, and it's important to edit and teach by encouraging students to continue writing and creating a positive learning environment. I specialize in tutoring students in reading, writing, grammar, and English. However, I'm also available to tutor Spanish I and II students. Additionally, I enjoy helping college students with essay writing and high school students with test prep -- I have experience tutoring individuals preparing to take the ACT, SAT, and PSAT in English, writing, reading, and critical reading.I like to spend my free time writing, reading, dancing, and singing. I consider myself an amateur foodie, and I love to travel. I also enjoy learning about environmental issues and art, as well as studying Spanish by reading magazines written in Spanish.
