Experience
I graduated from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with my bachelor's in international business. Through my coursework, I developed strong leadership skills and an intimate understanding of ethical behavior and its implementation. After graduation, I served Chapel Hill's Global Education Institution as a program manager, coordinating international student enrollment activities and requirements. While there, I built relationships between GEI and other educational institutions and government officials. I graduated from George Washington University with a degree in international education. While enrolled at GWU, I tutored fellow students in math and Chinese Mandarin. We studied one-on-one, as well as in groups, to further our educational goals and achieve full mastery of the material. I tutor students of all ages in math topics up to college algebra, breaking down difficult concepts to make them easier to grasp. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, capable of helping a student achieve mastery over professional or conversational aspects of the language. I believe learning language is best done when the lessons are immersive and creative. We might watch shows or listen to music entirely in the target language. Complete mastery is invaluable to continuing education successfully. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I love to go running and swimming. I also play the piano.
