As someone who loves researching and learning new things, I truly enjoy having the opportunity to share my experiences with students to help them achieve success. I recently graduated from Auburn University with a master's degree in forestry and forest ecology. During the course of my studies, I researched and wrote about various invasive species that have impacted the woodlands in the Southeastern United States. I also received my bachelor's degree at SUNY Syracuse, where I graduated cum laude with a degree in conservation biology. My studies have allowed me to work and research in a number of exciting locations, including the University of California - Santa Cruz, the Smithsonian Institute, and the University of Minnesota. As a tutor, it's my goal to share my love for science with a new generation of college-ready students, as well as pupils preparing for graduate school. Along with helping them prepare for tests and memorize coursework, I want to inspire my students to become lifelong learners just like myself so that they are ready to become a new generation of scientists and professionals. When I'm not teaching or spending my time in nature, I like to read books, write, and go running with my dog.
