I attended Duke University where I earned my B.S. in biology and my B.A. in German. At Duke, I spent a fair amount of time studying abroad. I studied in Berlin for two semesters. I spent my time in Berlin learning about German culture, the language, and the history of Germany. Since my graduation from Duke, I have traveled even more to assist others with my teaching. I worked with the kids of immigrant adults in California, I worked in Manhattan with adults looking to improve their English, and I also worked in Italy with private clients. As you can see, I am very diverse and well-rounded. I tutor a variety of subjects. However, I am most passionate about literature, history, and the English language. I tend to really enjoy working with my students for test and exam preparation. It is my firm belief that education is extremely important. It is a necessity to live a successful life. When I have spare time, I enjoy a game of ice hockey here and there. I also love keeping fit and in shape. I run and do yoga in my spare time. As a learner, I absolutely love to read. Reading gives me knowledge and enhances my life.
